This article focus on the discussion of the cyber bullying that increase during the recent few years. A 2007 study by Us-based Pew Internet and American Life Project found the one third of American teens have been targeted for cyber bullying. It is shocking but true beacause almost all people have internet access at home and it is easy to get bully other without getting caught. Research in cyber bullying suggested that online communication encourage people to act more aggressively and do thing that normally that person would not dare to do in real live. It is common sense that when a person hide behind his or her computer he can do anything he want. Nobody would know his identity anyway so there would not be any consequences. There also has been report that someone by the name of Halligan died in 2003 because his classmate spread new about him being a gay and he receiver many prank call from his classmate. The boy could not take the pressure and commited suicide. It is a sad case that he was betray by his so called close friend. It myself feel pity for him. Well, in my opinion, i think that he should not have been so rush and end his life. People may feel that i was not in his situation and have not right to talk so big words but i myself have been cyber bully. Someone post a picture in the web of me change t-shirt which make me very upset. I believe that someone took a picture of me after PE.
But i just consult my parent which then requested the boy parent to take down the picture which they did. I just want people to think and do not act so rashly.


Cyber bullying is a relentless attack. " When i was a kid, playground bullying stopped when the bell rang and you went back inside or went home. With cyber bullying, it is 24/7 , 365 days a year" says John Carr. well, it is a fact that no one can deny it. In the past bullying only occur outside our protective home if we had one but internet, people can post bad thing about you in our back. It is even worse if you do not know what happen and people disliked you. In Singapore, 80 case of cyber bullying get report to the WiredSafety, an online safe and help group. Well, people should turn to this help group if the have no choice. My summary end here and next is my reflection


Before reading this article, i already know that people, especially young children get bully often as they are the easy targeted group. I feel that there are people in the world that i could not understand. Why must they bully other for fun? It is such as childish and inmature act that only non-educated person could do. But even those high post people do such an childish act which i hate about it. Why cant those heartless people stop those idiotic act? This is the answer which only those people know. Also i feel that people who got bully should not take it to hard. Those that bully you are those people that want us to be in hopeless position and we should not give it in. If the succeed, it will only encourage them to do more of this act. It is best to turn to help and even though some case might be embrassing, we still should face the reality of the human nature and we what best for ourself. There are also many organisation that would help reduce bullying like the Us congress which pass law to make bullying, threaten etc over the internet illigal. Well, i have finish what i wanted to say and it is up to those people to stop the bullying.
